What has happened with my personal retreat? I have officially completed my time of retreat. For this newsletter I am continuing to share writing to inspire thought and reflection. Since the new year has begun, the cycle of spring is beginning to grow. Spring is when the quiet of winter begins to wake up and mobilize. I invite you to take a quiet moment to read the following. As usual notice what thoughts arise for you during and afterward. Then, I invite you to take on a new challenge of reflection in action.

Invitation to Reflection
Do you like compliments? Why? When other people tell us something about ourselves it is a way to know more about who we are. Affirmations and compliments are the best. Instead of asking: "Am I a stellar singer?" or "Do I look attractive enough?" we can temporarily not worry and believe it's true, until we doubt again. Whether it took a couple of seconds, a month or years, doesn't it feel good to believe the best or better of ourselves?
What if that doubt and worry turned increasingly frequently to certainty? Could there be a lasting certainty of yourself as being good?
What if you could constantly live in the reality that you are already your best self? Might each and every person be fully human and fully divine? As a fully divine being, you are always your best self. Can you live with the awareness of being both human and divine? If not, can you believe it is possible?
Are you ready to take on a life-changing challenge?
For the next 21 days, find a quite moment each day and write three ways you are your best self or showed someone else they were their best self.
Then, share your endeavor and its results with someone you care about.
